Our story
Two causes we refused to separate
Harit Chetna Foundation was founded by Golu Kumar (Aniruddh) on a simple conviction: caring for the planet and awakening young minds are not two jobs, but one.
Harit means green — our environmental work of cleaner rivers, greener streets and water awareness. Chetna means awakening — our educational work of mentorship, nourishment and study support for underprivileged children. What began as small local drives has grown into an ongoing, two-pillar effort powered by volunteers.

Vaishnavi Singh
A student at A.N. College, Patna, passionate about environmental sustainability and the education of underprivileged children. She champions community-driven initiatives that foster environmental awareness, social responsibility and inclusive development.

Atul Kumar Rai
A celebrated Hindi author, screenwriter, lyricist and musician. Author of the acclaimed novel Chandpur Ki Chanda (Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar 2023) and dialogue writer of the film Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga. His work reflects rural India, human emotion and contemporary social realities.
